To celebrate Scott has invited his good friends and highly acclaimed colleagues Greg Nardi and Jock Orton to teach with him on respective weeks.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to deepen your yoga practice in a stunning setting (Gumusluk is a beautifully quiet, bohemian fishing village on the Bodrum peninsula of Turkeywith highly skilled and compassionate teachers.

Located on the west coast of Turkey, on the Bodrum peninsula, Gumusluk is a wonderfully quiet, bohemian fishing village away from the crowds. We have located our holiday here since 2011 as it continues to charm people with its laid back and relaxed feel. 
Hotel Gumusluk is a very short walk to the beach and is nestled in quiet leafy surroundings. It offers very comfortable and clean accommodation. All rooms are air conditioned with their own bathrooms and have balconies overlooking the swimming pool. There is also the opportunity to enjoy a Turkish hammam (bath), which is a wonderful experience. 

Itinerary: 

Saturday 18th May 2019 (arrival from 2pm) to Saturday 25th May 2019 (departure by 11am)
Saturday 25th May 2019 (arrival from 2pm) to Saturday 1st June 2019 (departure by 11am)

The holiday begins on Saturday 18th May 2019 (if coming for the second week it begins Saturday 25th May 2019). We are staying for two weeks which allows you to go beyond a weeks holiday if you wish. You can choose the amount of time you want to spend with us, perhaps 10 days. The choice is yours. 

Daily practice begins on the Monday of each week (1st week: 20th May, 2nd week, 27th May) practice consists of mindfulness and pranayama practice followed by assisted ashtanga yoga self practice. This will take place from Monday to Saturday. There will also be 3 afternoon workshops (one meeting on the Sunday afternoon as a coming together at the beginning of the week) working on technique and the subtler aspects of yoga throughout the week. 

The second week is over the UK school half term so we greatly encourage those practitioners who have families that it’s a good time to come and practice with us (for the second week Scott and Louise will be bringing Herbie, Noah and Ethan. Jock and Emma will be bringing Abby and Holly) There will be morning assisted ashtanga yoga self practice then free time for the rest of the day (2 optional afternoon workshops are available in the week.) 

 

Non-Yoga Rate

Want to bring a partner/friend who doesn’t practice yoga? We offer a reduced rate for those who’d like to come, but don’t want to practice yoga with us. They may want to just have a holiday with those who do. If you’re coming and sharing a room with a practitioner then the price will be £500. 

 

Family Rates

We welcome families and those with children to come with us to Gumusluk. The second week (25th May – 1st June 2019) is over the UK half term and is perfect if you want to practice yoga and have a family holiday at the same time. We limit the yoga practice to early morning so you can have the rest of the day to yourselves. Get in touch with Louise (below on the contact form) if you are bringing your family as we can help with organising. Adding children under 12 to the booking is also a very low cost.

There is also an option for a non-yoga price for those who want to bring friends or family. These prices are available on request.

Prices include all yoga, pranayama and daily mindfulness sessions as well as daily post-practice breakfast and dinner. All food will be vegetarian made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements when you book.

Please note that flights and transfers are not included. We can arrange all airport transfers which are paid for on arrival and we will try to group as many together as possible to keep this cost down for you.
