3 x 1 Week Ashtanga Guided Self Practice Intensives
An opportunity to work closely, and in a small group, with one of the few KPJAYI Certified Ashtanga yoga teachers and Advanced B practitioners.
Following the traditional ‘guided self-practice’ method of learning/practising Ashtanga yoga, you will have the opportunity to deepen and develop your asana technique and practice, whilst being guided through methods of approaching the more challenging postures. You will be encouraged to transform your practice into a moving meditation and experience the joy of progressing serenely through the asanas, with humility and grace.
Working intensively with an experienced, qualified teacher (who can assist effectively and precisely convey what a student needs, in order to complete a posture correctly), allows the practitioner to enjoy breakthroughs in their asana practice, resulting in the impossible becoming achievable.
Being skilled at reading bodies, Philippa is adept at working out what each individual needs to master, in order to accomplish the essence of each asana, with good alignment, strength, elegance and peace.
Perfect for beginners and established practitioners of the Primary, Intermediate, Advanced A or Advanced B Series, who are keen to devote 3 weeks to honing in on the subtleties of the traditional Ashtanga practice, whilst receiving guidance on how to develop the asanas that they are currently working on.
Each class is limited to 12 people.
